Samrat Gupta
(CEO/ MD)
Samrat Gupta is the CEO and MD of TFL. He is responsible for scaling up the growth and profits of the company. He is a senior professional, with 20 years of hands-on execution experience in driving profitable growth, corporate transformation, and change management through organic and inorganic expansion. As the CEO of TFL, he is Focused on creating shareholder value by running organisation wide initiatives that lead to improvement in customer satisfaction, enhance employee engagement, and generate healthy cash-flows.
Samrat joined TFL in the year 2014 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. In the year 2017, he was elevated to the position of CEO. During his 4-year stint as the CFO, among other achievements, he was instrumental in undertaking the financial restructuring of the company under the Project Phoenix banner. Prior to joining TFL, Samrat has worked with many leading organisations including the TFL Group companies and other MNCs. As an investment banker, he has worked on global assignments related to cross-border acquisitions, private equity, and start-up venture fund raising, pricing and large contract negotiations, offshore and onshore infrastructure facility and resource augmentation, devising and implementing human capital strategies, leadership development and succession planning, equity & debt financing, balance sheet restructuring, and buy back and capital reduction programs.
Alok Chadha
Whole Time Director & KMP-TFL
Alok has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lucknow University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
Before joining TFL, Alok has worked with MRF Tyres and Kinetic Engineering in the sales and marketing functions. He joined TFL in 2008 as the Regional Business Head – West, from where he moved to the role of Collection Head. He has been responsible for the profitability and growth of the department. Amongst his notable achievements, creating a collection organisation with strong processes which brought down the Gross NPAs, while improving collections through a slew of strategies has been a notable one. He is a strategic thinker and very strong at execution. Alok Chadha was previously the Chief Operating Officer, Retail Distribution & Collection. His profile at TFL encompasses integrating sales at a geographic level, collection, retail, credit, and branch operations. He is responsible for driving branch level profitability for TFL and building stronger relationships with dealer partners and customers. Prior to this role, he was the Business Head for the MHCV & ICV verticals. Alok Chadha is the Chief Operating Officer, Retail Distribution & Collection. He enjoys reading and travelling.
Anand Bang
Chief Operating Office
Anand Bang has been Chief Operating Officer at (TFL) since August 2020. He heads retail vehicle financing, the wholesale corporate lending business, used vehicle financing and fee-based income.
Mr. Bang, a Chartered Accountant, has been with TFL since 2014. Prior to this role, he was Chief Financial Officer of TFL and has commendably led the finance and treasury functions through challenging times and created many innovative financial lending structures including asset securitization, as well as assignment and co-origination deals with leading financial institutions.
Mr. Bang has a rich experience of over 17 years and has been associated with the TFL for 13 years. Prior to TMFL, he was associated with TFL , where he served as Finance Controller for its European operations.
Anand is a passionate professional with an entrepreneurial drive for execution and transformation. Outside of work, Anand enjoys watching web series and is very keen about exploring new places to travel.
Ridhi Gangar
Chief Financial Officer
Ridhi Gangar is chief financial officer of TFL and TFL Holdings Limited. Ridhi joined TFL in August 2012. She is responsible for managing the financial health of the company in the areas of treasury, accounts, audit, taxation, business planning, and internal financial controls. She has a rich experience of over 12 years and of 8+ years with TFL. Prior to TFL, she had stints with the Essar group and PriceWaterHouse Coopers.
Ridhi is an associate chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She is a smart finance professional with a sharp eye for numbers. Besides crunching numbers, she loves driving and exploring new places for road trips around the world.
Vinu Nair
Executive Vice President – Special Projects
With over 25 years of operational domain expertise, Vinu oversees the entire pan-India collections infrastructure and special projects at TFL.
Over the years, Vinu has emerged as an influential C-Suite industry leader in the retail finance (Bank & NBFC), automotive, and insurance sectors with a specialization in managing and streamlining stressed asset collections.
In the past, he has initiated and laid the foundations of used vehicle financing business at TFL. Vinu also led TFL & Advisory Services Limited and Concorde Motors in capacity of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer, respectively.
He is passionate about building and strengthening future businesses leaders within the organisation through his impeccable people management and execution skills.
In his recreational hours, Vinu enjoys playing tennis. He is is also an avid reader having a particular interest towards observing and analysing regional, national, and global trends in the economy and financial sectors.
Neeloy Majumder
Chief Digital and Marketing Office
With his domain expertise spanning over 2 decades, Neeloy spearheads digital transformations, digital lending, and tech initiatives at TFL. Working across business verticals, he also oversees the marketing functions to build sustainable revenue growth. Neeloy is passionate about sales, digital & alternate channel management, product, and customer lifecycle management.
He has led key customer facing platforms in the past, bringing efficiency across geographies in mobile banking, digital lending stack, CRM, contact center technology, AI stack (Chatbot and Alexa), and digital customer acquisition platforms.
Neeloy specializes in developing digital solutions for operational effectiveness and analytics led business strategy formulation. His key strength lies in understanding the ecosystem of customers and stakeholders.
Vinay Lavannis
Company Secretary
Vinay Lavannis is company secretary of TFL and TFL Holdings Limited. He joined the company and has been with it since its inception in 2006. He has also been associated with the TFL for the last 18 years. Before joining the TFL, he worked with several multinational and Indian companies as company secretary. He is a commerce & law graduate and an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has post qualification experience of about 30 years in the field of company secretarial, corporate laws, and compliance. He is experienced in corporate governance, public issue of shares, mergers, amalgamation and restructuring of companies, etc. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and Indian music.
Prashant Bharati
Chief Legal Officer
Prashant Bharati is Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of TFL group. Prashant joined TMF in February 2018. He is responsible for the legal & compliance functions of the company.
Prashant Bharati is also Chief Ethics Counsellor of the TFL group and is responsible for the Leadership of the Business Ethics (LBE) framework of the TFL group.
Prashant has secured his law degree from the Government Law College, Mumbai. He is a smart Legal professional and uses his sharp legal skills for the benefit of the TFL group. He also keeps a sharp eye on the dynamic regulatory and statutory sphere.
Besides case laws, he loves singing, driving, and exploring new places.
